These bottom boards use the same quality lumber as our premium Langstroth screened bottoms but failed to meet our stringent quality requirements. They may include small, tight knots, dents, or minor tearing that isn t allowed on our other bottoms. No defects that compromise the structural integrity of the bottom board are allowed.
Our Langstroth screened bottom boards are made from, FSCⓇ certified wood. Choose Douglas Fir or Western Red Cedar. Stainless steel screen is durable and beautiful. A corrugated plastic insert slides in and pulls out for easy ventilation and cleaning.
